Jia Zhangke creates a human-centered chronicle of the lure of both capital and capitals, set in a Beijing theme park of global architectural icons. Artist Sean Snyder’s short explores geo-political exchange via a Romanian oligarch’s Balkan re-creation of the ranch from US TV show Dallas.

Here, his two most recent works dissect modernity through architectural form via his signature moving photographs. Followed by a Q&A between Emigholz and Kodwo Eshun.
