Day trip to visit Hauser & Wirth in Bruton and Drawing Matter at Shatwell Farm, Somerset

To coincide with the opening day at Hauser & Wirth Somerset of the exhibition JOSEPHSOHN / MÄRKLI: A CONJUNCTIONDrawing Matter will be holding an open day at Shatwell Farmyard, three miles from the gallery. 

Drawing Matter will be showing drawings from the collection (drawingmatter.org) which are part of their current curatorial and exhibition projects in the UK and abroad, together with design material for planned building projects at Shatwell by Clancy Moore, Florian Beigel, Hugh Strange architects and Alvaro Siza. It will also be possible to inspect the Inlook Tower (The Hadspen Obelisk), the last work of Peter Smithson, and completed buildings on the site by Hugh Strange, Stephen Taylor and Skene Catling de la Pena architects.

The AF will be taking a minibus from London to Bruton where we will visit the Hauser & Wirth exhibition before heading to Shatwell Farm for the Drawing Matter open day.

We will be departing 9am sharp from the Royal College of Art, Kensington Gore, and leaving Shatwell Farm at 5pm to arrive back in London at approximately 8pm.
