Hussein Ali

Hussein is an architectural designer based in London with industry experience in the UK and abroad. Completing his part 1 at Coventry University, he developed his passion for tackling social issues by collaborating with Coventry City Council and the Cyrenians Homeless Charity, to focus on redefining the relationship between designers and the homeless community. His final project during his part 2 at Oxford Brookes University was centred on the historical Touqan Palace in the ancient city of Nablus located in the West Bank, Palestine. The project focused on rebuilding this historical past for the future of the city, through reviving and transferring the lost cultural knowledge through the restoration of heritage. After graduating, he has worked on several large education projects for practice in Richmond and on residential & commercial projects for Hermann Tschernko (360BIM) in Sevilla, Spain. He also enjoys photography, football and chess.
