The Architecture Foundation is a key delivery partner of the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) together with the British Council, RIBA London and New London Architecture. The Festival, which is a citywide exploration of London’s built environment, celebrates the city’s role as a global hub of architectural experimentation, thinking, learning and practice. From this year onward, the Festival will be one month long and produced annually.
Core Programme
Taking place through the month of June, LFA2013 will work with a host of core Festival partners to stage architecture related programme across the city. It is hoped that with time June will become synonymous with architecture in the city. Core partner organisations in 2013 include Barbican, Design Museum, Southbank Centre, London Transport Museum, Royal College of Art, University of Greenwich, University of Westminster, Kingston University and many more. Please note that participation in the Core Programme is strictly by prior invitation. For more information email info@londonfestivalofarchitecture.org.
Fringe
A rich and varied programme organised by independent practices and artists will be promoted as the LFA Fringe. LFA will be working closely with London Architecture Diary (LAD) to provide listings and recommendations for LFA Fringe architecture events, exhibitions and activities taking place across London. The LFA Fringe listing will also be promoted alongside the core programme on the LFA website. If you would like to contribute and highlight an event as part of the LFA Fringe, please add your event as soon as possible to avoid missing the opportunity to be promoted - it is easy and completely free.
