Having held the announcement party for the shortlist of Building Design's Young Architect of the Year Awards 2011, The Architecture Foundation then brought you an evening of presentation and discussion from each of the finalist practices.

The five shortlisted practices presented their work to a public audience, in an event chaired by Building Design editor Ellis Woodman, ahead of the winner's announcement on 15 November.
