Willesden Green Urban Pioneers

February - March 2012

In 2012 The Architecture Foundation's Urban Pioneers programme came to Willesden Green. A group of students with a keen interest in architecture and the built environment explored their surroundings with a variety of creative professionals; including artists, architects, journalists and designers. The project was focused on new ideas for the high street, and  it culminated in a new publication edited by the group to document this change.

New Windows on Willesden Green was one of the Mayor’s Outer London Fund projects, which was being delivered for Brent Council and Design for London by The Architecture Foundation in collaboration with Meanwhile Space and Blue Consulting.
