To
celebrate the final week of Moss Your City, an
installation created by Oslo based architects PUSHAK as part of the AF's London_Norway international exchange programme, The Architecture Foundation will be
hosting a talk with 6a architects and Troika.
Stephanie Macdonald of 6a architects will be joining us to discuss
the environmental benefits and psychological relief gained from growing
moss on buildings as unearthed through their impressive research advocating the
use of moss on urban walls. We will also be joined by
Sebastien Noel from Troika who will be discussing the Green Map, Lightrain
and Future Plants installations featured at the World Expo Shanghai
2010 along with future Troika projects involving green in the city.
Set
within the living moss walls of the enchanting installation at the AF Project Space, we invite you to bring your own picnic and join us to
discover more about the relationship between contemporary architecture,
landscape and natural resources.
Limited tickets available. Advance booking essential - Please RSVP to events@architecturefoundation.org.uk with 'Picnic in the Moss' in the subject line to secure your place.
