This exhibition, The Architecture Foundation’s first, featured eight public museums built by the city of Frankfurt in the previous ten years as part of its cultural and public building programme.
Frankfurt’s enlightened metropolitan government provided a valuable example for London and its future. The buildings, designed and built by leading international and German architects, reflected a unique public commitment to excellence in contemporary architecture.
Exhibited architects included:
Bangert, Jansen, Scholz & Schultes
JP Kleihuis
Scheffler & Warschauer
