Scaffold Episode 91: Theo de Meyer

The Ghent-based architect guides us through his surreal greenhouse studio, reflecting on the adhocism of his work and the balance of individual and collective authorship it often strikes.

Theo de Meyer's work moves between architecture, design and the arts, often reconciling the various disciplines. Together with doorzon interieur architecten he runs the modular collective Stand Van Zaken (‘State of Affairs’), who create furniture and architecture in collaboration with specialists in various fields. In this interview the Ghent-based architect guides us through his surreal greenhouse studio, reflecting on the adhocism of his work and the balance of individual and collective authorship it often strikes.

Special thanks this week to the General Representation of Flanders to the UK (Embassy of Belgium) for their support.
