Delivery & Installation Conditions

Delivery and installation are not included with the purchase of the item.

The winning bidder is expected to work in co-ordination with a contractor and installation engineer to organise and schedule the shipping and installation.

The Architecture Foundation is able to put the winning bidder in contact with the installation team used for the current exhibition but the winning bidder is also able to organise their own delivery and installation contractors.

If the winning bidder can accept the delivery of the item on 29th September 2018 (within the confines of London) then delivery is free.

If the Living Unit is required to be delivered elsewhere in the UK then delivery costs are estimated at around £1,400, to be confirmed once location is known.

Storage for the Living Unit has been organised for the item near London for 2 months.

If the winning bidder requires the Living Unit to be in storage for longer than 2 months then the costs for this extension must be covered by the winning bidder.

The installation of the Living Unit should be done in co-ordination with a contractor and installation engineer.

The costs for the installation of the Unit at the desired location of the winning bidder have been estimated at £8,000. This is a general estimate and should be formalised in co-ordination an appropriate engineer to assess the need for extra foundations once the location of the delivery is finalised.

The appointment for the installer and engineer will need to be undertaken by the buyer directly.
