The Architecture Foundation, in partnership with Fora, has launched a new initiative called Part Four, directed at helping architects who have recently set up in private practice. Part Four provides an opportunity for an audience of young architects to pitch questions about professional practice to a panel of more established practitioners.  It is a chance to ask about all the subjects that are not covered in Part Three: finance, staff management, dealing with difficult clients, ensuring sustainable growth, finding suitable workspace etc, etc.

The panel on the first evening will comprise Russell Curtis (RCKa), Catherine Burd (Burd Haward)  and Chris Dyvik (Dyvik Kahlen).  Members of the audience will be invited to submit questions in advance so that the panel can give them proper consideration.

The event will take place at a new shared workspace, called Fora, in Clerkenwell on the evening of June 8th.  On the night, the Fora team will be announcing details of a parallel initiative to provide young architects with rent free desk-space at the venue.

If you have set up in practice in the past five years and would like to join the audience, please register using the link below.  Please submit your questions for the panel to ellis@architecturefoundation.org.uk by June 5th.
