Design magazine Icon has joined Doughnut, the Festival of Outer London as media partners. The magazine, which recently took on new editor, David Michon, will help promote and report on the festival and will be recording the day’s debates which they will develop for their podcast series.
Phineas Harper, Deputy Director of the Architecture Foundation and former Deputy Editor of The Architectural Review, said: “It is brilliant that Icon are engaging with the Festival of Outer London. This event brings together a host of ideas about the future of our city and it also challenges the conventional format of architectural events. I think Icon’s decision to support the project shows they are a design publication with a critical interest in cities rooted in the real world.”
