This week AF Patrons and Supporters were given an exclusive preview tour of JW3, the new Jewish community arts and culture centre. Designed by Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands Architects the centre, which will open to the public on Sunday 29 September will serve the Jewish community in London with a library, café, auditorium and screening room, classrooms and much more. Conceived as a three-storey pavilion set away from the busy Finchley Road, the scheme creates an intimate, sheltered outdoor space in the form of a piazza.
The tour was led by Alex Lifschutz, Director, Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands alongside Nick Viner, Chief Executive, JW3, Raymond Simonson Chief Executive Designate, JW3 and Gerry O’Brien, Director, AKT II and presented AF supporters with the chance to preview this exciting new development before it opens to the public.
