AF Bulletin: new graphic identity

We are delighted to announce that our newly redesigned AF Bulletin has arrived at our Central London HQ. Created by design studio Julia, the autumn bulletin presents The AF's programme from October through to December 2013.

Julia were selected through an open call that asked designers interested in giving our bulletin a new look to submit their portfolios. Choosing to communicate our diverse programme through a clear colour coded system, the newly designed bulletin highlights The AF's work from exhibitions, events, projects and education initiatives. Projects featured include our Futures in the Making exhibition, Viewpoint and our forthcoming John Edwards Lecture.

When speaking about of their design Julia said:
"Our goal when redesigning the bulletin was to make the content more accessible and visually richer, which also resulted in a change in the way the object is folded. The categories of activities are brought forward through colour, in keeping with The Architecture Foundation identity."

Following on from our previous open call winner Luke Fenech, this is the first of an annual cycle of four bulletins that will be published together with Julia. The AF will then select a new design studio by open call in September 2014 to once again reinterpret our printed bulletin. Make sure to pop by The AF and pick up your copy!
