AF Project Space Open Call returns for 2013

The AF's international Open Call for innovative, independent exhibitions and installations for our Central London Project Space is back for 2013.

Following the success of the inaugural Open Call launched in Summer 2012 – which has seen London based architects We Made That present The Open Office, a new and lively practice for urbanism – the Open Call offers organisations, artists, architects and curators the opportunity to activate the AF Project Space as a testing ground for modes of exhibition and 1:1 scale spatial experimentation.

Now an annual part of The AF’s core programme, the Open Call – which is competitively reviewed through a jury process – will select up to two projects for presentation in 2014. Chosen projects are intended to complement and enhance The AF’s existing programme, which offers the best of emerging international architectural talent, experimental immersive installation design and cutting-edge ideas on urbanism and the future of cities, targeting a broad public with an interest in architecture, art, design and culture.

Application deadline is 5pm on Friday 10 May 2013. Group submissions are welcomed.

Exhibition slots will run for a period of 4-6 weeks, with the first two running during late Winter 2014 (February – March) and Summer 2014 (July). Successful applicants will be allocated one of these two available exhibition slots.
