The London Festival of Architecture seeks Programme Director

The Board of the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Programme Director to develop the creative approach to the Festival in 2014 and oversee its delivery.

In 2013 the London Festival of Architecture became an annual month-long event, and adopted a new format that placed partnerships with London’s leading cultural and educational organisations at the heart of the programme. For 2014, we wish to build on this foundation and develop a strong creative approach to the Festival that can inspire and lead the development of the programme.

The appointed Programme Director will work on the long term vision and development of the LFA together with the LFA Board, made up of individual members and representatives of four initiating partners of the Festival: The Architecture Foundation, the British Council, NLA and RIBA London

The position of Programme Director is envisaged as a freelance contract that will consist of two phases. The first phase running from October 2013 - March 2014 will be part time (2.5 days per week) whilst the second phase from April 2014 - July 2014 is likely to be full-time and will include delivering the Festival and producing the LFA 2014 Review.
