Are you available the weekend of 7-8 July? Come and volunteer during the final weekend of the London Festival of Architecture taking place in King’s Cross. The Festival is a great opportunity to be part of a city-wide celebration of architecture and architectural talent in the UK capital.
From 6-8 July King’s Cross will come alive with a series of urban actions themed around The Playful City. From a petrol station transformed by Carmody Groarke, a picnic over the pavement by Squire and Partners, and an imagination playground designed by David Rockwell, to dance performances by Sadler’s Wells, the weekend is set to be full of positive and transformative activity.
As a volunteer you will be integral to the Festival’s presence and success in King’s Cross. Your role will be to help to inform the public about the Festival and assist with way finding. A detailed Urban Actions Trail Map showcasing all of the activities taking place has been designed and can be downloaded on the resources tab here.
