Final Days: KPF/AF Student Travel Award and YAYA Exhibitions

Two exhibitions showcasing the work of some of the brightest emerging architectural talent are coming to a close, so don’t miss your final opportunity to engage with the United Kingdom's rising generations of architectural researchers and practitioners.

The KPF/AF Student Travel Award 2011 is the first exhibition to be displayed in the gallery space of Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates’ new London office in Covent Garden. The exhibition displays the 2011 shortlisted students’ entries, exploring the topic of Work/Life Patterns of the Future, with a special focus on the first and second prize projects by Holly Hayward and Ben Reynolds. Projects display outstanding insight into patterns of how we live and work and how this is affected or informed by the built environment.

The Architecture Foundation has also partnered with the Autodesk Young Architect of the Year Award to exhibit the long- and shortlisted practices of this influential annual award, including 2011 YAYA winner Jonathan Hendry Architects. With exhibition design by 2010 YAYA-shortlisted practice Moxon Architects, alongside graphic designer Helios Capdevila, the exhibition offers a celebration and survey of 30 of the UK’s most promising practices.
