Come along and help with transforming 2a Canterbury Road in South Kilburn into a series of creative studios with Practice Architecture. We are holding two volunteer days this week on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 March from 11am - 5pm. Tasks will include sanding, painting and any other tasks that may need to be done. Please come along, meet the architects and get stuck in!
Background information
Over the next month The Architecture Foundation, together with the South Kilburn Neighbourhood Trust and Practice Architecture will be regenerating the site of 2a Canterbury Road in South Kilburn, London transforming this building into a series of studio spaces available to those in the creative industries. Tenants of South Kilburn Studios will pledge - in lieu of rent payments - to train a young person from the local area, helping them learn the skills of their profession and build a portfolio in their chosen trade.
