Stratford Kiosks Shortlist Announced

The Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce the shortlist for a competition to design a group of flexible, free standing Kiosks, situated in Meridian Square, Stratford, London, which will serve as key venues for information, orientation and services for use before, during and after the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The five shortlisted entries by: 42 Architects, Bell Phillips Architects, Ginseng Chicken Architecture P.C., Moxon Architects and studio octopi will go on show alongside a selection of other entries at an exhibition opening 18 September to coincide with the London Design Festival.

Longlisted proposals - from Labra, Ja Architecture Studio & Aleph-Bau, GT+T, NorthSeven Architects, AU Studio, Tsuruta Architects, Don Orike Architects & HD3 Architecture, Feix&Merlin Architects, and EW Taller De Arquitectura - will also be on display at the exhibition.

The competition jury are: Christophe Egret, Studio Egret West; Eleanor Fawcett and Esther Everett, Design for London; Sarah Ichioka, The Architecture Foundation; Philip Singleton, LB Newham; David Sterry, Transport for London and Sarah Wigglesworth.
