Based on the model of the ancient bazaar, The Market of Ideas will host "stalls" staffed by artists, academics, urbanists, geographers, environmentalists, health workers, anthropologists, economists and others exchange their knowledge with the milling public. Dallas Pierce Quintero (participants in New Architects: Poland_UK) will be presenting Abundant Amelia , the winning scheme from The Architecture Foundation's public realm competition for south London. The Market of Ideas takes place on Sunday 23 May 2010, 2-6pm, and will explore the distribution of public knowledge, embody peer-2-peer exchange, and build communal resources. It will take place in a structure designed by Aleksandra Wasilkowska (a Warsaw-based architect participating in New Architects: Poland_UK) in the Rootstein Hopkins Parade Ground, Chelsea College of Art and Design (beside Tate Britain) 16 John Islip St., London, SW1P 4JU.
