AF Competition Launches: Stratford Kiosks

The Architecture Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of an open international competition to design a permanent group of kiosks in Meridian Square, Stratford, London, for use before, during and after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The competition has been initiated by Design for London and the London Borough of Newham and is part of an overall scheme to transform Stratford Town Centre's public spaces by 2012.

The competition - with a jury including Sarah Wigglesworth, Director, Sarah Wigglesworth Architects and Philip Singleton, Divisional Director of Major Sites, LB Newham and Eleanor Fawcett, Head of Design for Legacy and Lower Lea Valley, Design for London - is open to (but not limited to) architects, designers, artists, product designers, and related disciplines.

The competition will be open to entries from 15 July until 3 September 2010.
