The Architecture Foundation is running an open international competition to design a permanent group of kiosks in Meridian Square, Stratford, London, for use before, during and after the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The competition has been initiated by Design for London and the London Borough of Newham and is part of an overall scheme to transform Stratford Town Centre's public spaces by 2012.
The AF has arranged a site visit, which will be an opportunity to view the site and ask questions relating to the competition. Led by Design for London, attending will be representatives of The Architecture Foundation, the London Borough of Newham and Studio Egret West.
Site Visit: Wednesday 4 August, 10.30am sharp.
Meeting Point: The existing coffee kiosk outside Stratford Station.
The competition will be open to entries from 15 July until 3 September 2010.
