Open for entries until 18 February 2011, this new AF lead competition, on behalf of with Better Bankside, offers you the opportunity to design a new cycle parking system for Bankside. Judged by a high profile Jury including Deborah Saunt, Director, DSDHA; Ashok Sinha, Chief Executive, London Cycling Campaign; Sarah Ichioka, Director, The Architecture Foundation and Jonathan Bell, Architecture Editor, Wallpaper* magazine. The winning entry will be built as a prototype next spring.
This modular, portable and secure cycle parking solution will form part of Better Bankside's ‘Smart Green Business strategy' - a new EU funded project to improve local businesses' environmental performance.
