Job Floris has run Rotterdam-based studio Monadnock with Sandor Naus since 2006 and is post-graduate course leader at the city’s Academie Van Bouwkunst.  Monadnock’s projects have included a number of temporary structures such as a demountable pavilion that facilitates the use of the banks of the River Strand as an artificial beach in summer (2008).  Recent work has included the widely published viewing tower in the Dutch new town, Nieuw Bergen (2015).

The Architecture Foundation, in association with the Barbican, presents Architecture on Stage – a programme of talks and debates.
