Marking the 30th anniversary of Caruso St John, whose work is engaged with the specific conditions of each project and is characterised by a formal diversity that emerges out of the potential of construction, we present an evening of reflection. Founding partners, Adam Caruso and Peter St John, are joined by current collaborators, Tibor Bielicky, Lorenzo Iandelli, Adriana Müller, Eva Janusch and Michael Schneider, to revisit a project from the past, and one currently being built.
The first project is the House in Lincolnshire (1994) which was the first completely new structure that the practice designed.
The second, the Swiss Life Arena (to be completed in 2022) represents a new scale of project for the practice. The in situ concrete exposed shell of the building is currently under construction in Zurich.
The practice has made special films that present each project. After screening the films, there will be a discussion with Nana Biamah-Ofosu and Ellis Woodman.
